# CreateShippingClass

> Creates a new shipping class.



**mutation** `CreateShippingClass(request: CreateShippingClassCommandRequestInput!): CreateShippingClassCommandResponse!`

## Arguments

**`request`**: `CreateShippingClassCommandRequestInput!` (required)

## Returns

`CreateShippingClassCommandResponse!`

**`id`**: `ID!`

The ID of the newly created shipping class.
