# ActivatePaymentMethodCommandRequestInput

> Makes a payment method available for new documents. Activating an active one does nothing and answers 204. - Request

**`paymentMethodId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the payment method.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
