# CreatePaymentMethodCommandRequestInput

> Creates a payment method in the default language. It is active and not the default. The reservation priority cannot be set in this API version. - Request

## Fields

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

The name in the default language, at most 255 characters. It must be unique among the payment methods, ignoring case.

**`generalLedgerAccount`**: `String`

The G/L account, at most 32 characters. An empty text removes it.

---

**`isDebit`**: `Boolean`

Whether the amount can be collected by direct debit.

---

**`canShipBeforePayment`**: `Boolean`

Whether an order can be shipped before the payment arrived. A change applies to open orders with this payment method.

---

**`isDunningActive`**: `Boolean`

Whether open invoices paid with this method are dunned.

---

**`cashDiscountValue`**: `Decimal`

The cash discount in percent, 0 to 100. 0 removes it.

---

**`cashDiscountDays`**: `Int`

How many days the cash discount applies, at least 0. 0 removes it.

**`paymentOption`**: `String`

The eBay payment option. An empty text removes it.

---

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
