# CreateUserGroupCommandRequestInput

> Creates an empty user group. Errors: UserGroupNameRequired, UserGroupNameTooLong, UserGroupNameAlreadyExists. - Request

## Fields

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

The unique name of the user group.

**`description`**: `String`

What the group is for. More than 255 characters fail with UserGroupDescriptionTooLong.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
