# IncomingInvoiceLineItemType

> Kind of a line item of an incoming invoice. More kinds can be added later; treat an unknown value like a free-text line item.



**Kind**: `enum`

## Values

**`ITEM`** — An item from the catalog, usually from a purchase order.

**`FREE_TEXT`** — A line with a free description and no item, for example a service, a shipping charge or a surcharge.

**`CASH_DISCOUNT`** — A cash discount granted by the supplier, one line per tax rate, with a negative amount.
