# OutputCriterionValueSource

> Where the possible values of an assignment criterion come from: the operation that lists them, and which properties of its result are the value and the display name. A client that does not know the criterion can still offer its values.

## Fields

**`operation`**: `String!`

The name of the operation that lists the possible values, for example QueryCustomerGroups. It exists in the API as GraphQL operation and, in V2, as REST route.

**`valueProperty`**: `String!`

The property of each result entry that is the value of the assignment, for example id.

**`nameProperty`**: `String!`

The property of each result entry that is the display name, for example name.

---

**`scope`**: `String!`

The scope the operation needs, for example customers.read. A client without it cannot list the values.
