# PurchaseOrderAllowanceAndChargeType

> Kind of a document-level allowance or charge on a purchase order. These rows modify the document, not an article, and are excluded from lineItems — they appear only under allowancesAndCharges.



**Kind**: `enum`

## Values

**`FREIGHT_CHARGE`** — A freight/shipping charge on the document.

**`DISCOUNT`** — A discount on the document. NetAmount is negative for this type.

**`MINIMUM_QUANTITY_SURCHARGE`** — A minimum-quantity surcharge on the document.
