# UpdateInventoryCountCommandRequestInput

> Changes the counted quantity of an inventory count. Item, batch number, best-before date and serial number identify the count and cannot be changed; delete the count and add a new one instead. - Request

## Fields

**`inventoryCountId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the inventory count to update.

**`quantity`**: `Decimal`

The new counted quantity. Must not be negative; a whole number unless the item is divisible; 1 for an item managed by serial number.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
