# AddTaxZoneStateCommandRequestInput

> Adds one state of a country to a tax zone. Sales to the state are then taxed in this tax zone, even if the whole country is in another one. Adding a state that is in the tax zone already changes nothing and succeeds. - Request

## Fields

**`taxZoneId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the tax zone.

**`countryCode`**: `String!` (required)

The country, as ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code.

**`stateCode`**: `String!` (required)

The state within the country, for example CA.
