# BillOfMaterialsOperationCreationInput

> Creates an operation of a bill of materials. It is appended after the last parent component of the bill of materials.



**Kind**: `input`

## Fields

**`children`**: `[CreateBillOfMaterialsChildComponentInput]!` (required)

The child components (items and configuration groups) created together with the parent component. Their order in the list becomes their order within the parent component. When omitted, the parent component is created without child components.

The ID of the operation underlying the bill of materials operation.
