# CharacteristicActionAvailability

> Whether one action would be allowed right now, and if not, why not. The action is a string key, not an enum, because the list of actions can grow without a change of the schema. Keys today: DELETE (deleting without 'removeItemAssignments'; deleting with it is always possible).



**Kind**: `object`

## Fields

**`actionId`**: `String!`

The key of the action, for example DELETE. A client that does not know a key ignores the entry.

**`isAllowed`**: `Boolean!`

Whether the action would go through right now.

---

**`blockers`**: `[CharacteristicActionBlocker!]!`

The reasons why it would not. Empty when it is allowed.
