# Company

> A company: the legal entity that sells. The address, the bank account and the VAT IDs per country belong to it; the VAT IDs, mail settings, retention periods and are their own sub-resources.

## Fields

**`id`**: `ID!`

The ID of the company.

**`name`**: `String`

The name of the company. It is unique among the active companies.

---

**`isActive`**: `Boolean!`

Whether the company is active. An inactive company cannot be chosen in new documents and cannot be activated again.

---

**`owner`**: `String`

The owner or managing director of the company.

---

**`address`**: `CompanyAddress!`

The postal address.

---

**`phoneNumber`**: `String`

Phone number.

---

**`faxNumber`**: `String`

Fax number.

---

**`emailAddress`**: `String`

E-mail address of the company, as printed on documents. The mail server is set in the e-mail settings.

**`website`**: `String`

Website of the company.

---

**`taxNumber`**: `String`

The national tax number (not the VAT ID, which is kept per country).

**`isSmallBusiness`**: `Boolean!`

Whether the company is a small business under the small-business scheme. It changes how tax is determined.

**`sepaCreditorId`**: `String`

The SEPA creditor identifier for direct debits.

---

**`payPalEmailAddress`**: `String`

The PayPal account of the company.

---

**`bankAccount`**: `CompanyBankAccount!`

The bank account of the company.

---

**`dhlIntrashipCustomerId`**: `String`

The DHL Intraship customer number used for the shipment data export.

---

**`upsCustomerId`**: `String`

The UPS customer number used for the shipment data export.

---

**`glnBaseNumber`**: `String`

The base number of the Global Location Number (GLN), 7 to 9 digits, used for the shipment data export.
