# CreateCustomerAddressCommandRequestInput

> Adds an address to a customer. The first address of a type becomes its default. - Request

## Fields

**`customerId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the customer.

**`type`**: `CustomerAddressType!` (required)

The use of the address.

---

**`isDefault`**: `Boolean`

Whether the address becomes the default of its type; the previous default stops being it. Omitted means no, except for the first address of a type.

---

**`companyName`**: `String`

The company name, at most 128 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`companyAddition`**: `String`

An addition to the company name, at most 60 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`salutation`**: `String`

The salutation, at most 30 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`title`**: `String`

The academic title, at most 64 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`firstName`**: `String`

The first name, at most 255 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`lastName`**: `String`

The last name, at most 255 characters. Omitted means none.

Street and house number, at most 255 characters. Omitted means none.

An addition to the address, at most 255 characters. Omitted means none.

The postal code, at most 24 characters. Omitted means none.

The city, at most 255 characters. Omitted means none.

The state or region, at most 255 characters. Omitted means none.

**`countryCode`**: `String!` (required)

The country as ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code, 2 characters.

The email address, at most 255 characters. Omitted means none.

**`phone`**: `String`

The phone number, at most 30 characters. Omitted means none.

**`mobile`**: `String`

The mobile number, at most 30 characters. Omitted means none.

**`fax`**: `String`

The fax number, at most 30 characters. Omitted means none.

**`postId`**: `String`

The post number for parcel lockers, at most 255 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`vatId`**: `String`

The VAT identification number, at most 20 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`gln`**: `String`

The Global Location Number, at most 13 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call (the customer event 'changed'). Defaults to false when omitted.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
