# CreateItemFreeTextVariationCommandRequestInput

> Adds a free-text variation to an item. Every kind of item can have one, a combination as well, in addition to those of its parent. Refused for an item of the fulfillment network. - Request

## Fields

**`itemId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the item.

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

Display name in the default language. It is the label of the input field.

**`names`**: `[LocalizedTextInput]`

The label in further languages.

**`isRequired`**: `Boolean`

Whether the customer has to enter a text. Defaults to false when omitted.

---

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call. Defaults to false when omitted.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
