# CreateItemMediumCommandRequestInput

> Adds a medium to an item as a link. Uploading a file stays with the blob endpoints. - Request

## Fields

**`itemId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the item.

**`mediaCategoryId`**: `String!` (required)

The key of what the medium is for, one of DATASHEET, VIDEO or OTHER (the list can grow).

**`name`**: `String`

Display name of the medium.

---

**`url`**: `String!` (required)

The URL the medium is opened from.

---

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call. Defaults to false when omitted.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
