# CreatePaymentMethodCommandRequestInput

> Creates a payment method in the default language. It is active and not the default. Print texts and other languages are set with 'translations'. - Request

## Fields

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

The name in the default language, at most 255 characters. It must be unique among the payment methods, ignoring case.

**`generalLedgerAccount`**: `String`

The G/L account, at most 32 characters. An empty text removes it.

---

**`supportsDirectDebit`**: `Boolean`

Whether the amount can be collected by direct debit.

---

**`canShipBeforePayment`**: `Boolean`

Whether an order can be shipped before the payment arrived. A change applies to open orders with this payment method.

**`isDunningEnabled`**: `Boolean`

Whether open invoices paid with this method are dunned.

---

**`cashDiscount`**: `PaymentMethodCashDiscountInput`

The cash discount for early payment. Omitted means none.

**`ebayPaymentOption`**: `String`

The eBay payment option. An empty text removes it.

---

**`reservationPriority`**: `Int`

The priority for first in, first out reservation, 0 to 255.

---

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
