# CreateSalesOrderNoteCommandRequestInput

> Adds a note to a sales order. The note is kept in the history of the customer. - Request

## Fields

**`salesOrderId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the sales order. Fails with SalesOrderNotFound or SalesOrderHasNoCustomer.

**`type`**: `SalesOrderNoteType`

How the content reached the company. Defaults to Text.

**`text`**: `String!` (required)

The text of the note.

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call. Defaults to false when omitted.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
