# CreateSettingsActionExecutionCommandRequestInput

> Runs the action of a button and returns the execution. A quick action has finished when it answers; a long one has the status Running, and the run is polled with GetSettingsActionExecution. Fails with a GraphQL error whose extensions.code is ActionPermissionDenied, ActionNotFound, ActionParameterInvalid or ActionNotAllowed. - Request

## Fields

**`actionId`**: `String!` (required)

The ID of the action.

**`arguments`**: `[ActionArgumentInput]!` (required)

Values for the parameters the button asks for. Required; pass an empty list when the button has no parameters (a list can not be optional in the generated GraphQL input).

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
