# CreateShippingClassCommandRequestInput

> Creates a shipping class. The name must not be used by another shipping class, regardless of upper and lower case. - Request

## Fields

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

The name of the shipping class, at most 255 characters.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
