# CreateStorageLocationCommandRequestInput

> Creates a storage location in a warehouse with storage location management. The system creates the locations of the types goods receipt, box, picking trolley and system itself, so those types cannot be created. The location starts active. errorCode is one of: STORAGE_LOCATION_NAME_INVALID, STORAGE_LOCATION_TYPE_NOT_CREATABLE (the request is invalid); WAREHOUSE_NOT_FOUND (the warehouse was not found); WAREHOUSE_TYPE_DOES_NOT_SUPPORT_STORAGE_LOCATIONS (the warehouse has no storage locations: only warehouses with storage location management have them); STORAGE_LOCATION_NAME_NOT_UNIQUE (the name is already used in the warehouse). - Request

## Fields

**`warehouseId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the warehouse.

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

The name of the location, at most 50 characters, without an apostrophe. It is unique in the warehouse.

**`locationTypeId`**: `UUID!` (required)

The ID of the type of the location; read the types with QueryStorageLocationTypes. The system types cannot be created.

**`comment`**: `String`

A free comment.

**`priority`**: `Int`

The priority. Defaults to 0.

---

**`sortNumber`**: `Int`

The sort number for the picking route.

---

**`dimensions`**: `StorageLocationDimensionsInput`

Size and load capacity.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
