# CreateTextBlockCommandRequestInput

> Creates a text block in a group, without content: add the content per language with 'SetTextBlockTranslation'. - Request

## Fields

**`textBlockGroupId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the group the text block is created in. It cannot be changed afterwards.

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

The name, 1 to 255 characters.

**`usageKey`**: `String!` (required)

Where the text block can be inserted: the key of an entry of 'QueryTextBlockUsages', for example salesOrder. The usage decides which variables the content can use.

**`shortcut`**: `String`

The key combination that inserts the text block in editors, up to 255 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`autoText`**: `String`

The abbreviation that expands to the text block while typing, up to 255 characters. Omitted means none.

---

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
