# CreateVariationCombinationCommandRequestInput

> Creates a new regular item and adds it as a combination of the variation parent. The new item takes over the categories of the parent; categories cannot be sent, because a combination has none of its own. - Request

## Fields

**`itemId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the item.

**`sku`**: `String!` (required)

The item number of the new item, unique among all items.

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

The name of the new item in the default language.

---

**`values`**: `[VariationValueAssignmentInput]!` (required)

The chosen value for every axis, one per axis. The set has to be new.

**`freeTextVariations`**: `[NewFreeTextVariationInput]`

Free-text variations of the combination itself, in addition to those of its parent, which it shows anyway. Omitted means none.

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call. Defaults to false when omitted.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
