# DeactivateLanguageCommandRequestInput

> Deactivates a language. Only a language that nothing refers to can be deactivated: no sales orders, no text blocks and no item texts in it. The default language and the last active language cannot be deactivated. Unit names in the language are removed with it. Deactivating a language that is already inactive changes nothing and succeeds. - Request

## Fields

**`languageTag`**: `String!` (required)

The language as BCP 47 language tag, for example de or de-AT: language subtag in lower case, region subtag in upper case. Case does not matter on input. Wawi currently holds only the two-letter language subtag.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
