# DeactivateShippingMethodCommandRequestInput

> Takes a shipping method out of use. Orders and packages keep it. For an inactive one nothing changes. errorCode is one of: SHIPPING_METHOD_NOT_FOUND, SHIPPING_METHOD_USED_BY_AMAZON. - Request

**`shippingMethodId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the shipping method.

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
