# DeactivateSupplierCommandRequestInput

> Deactivates a supplier. A deactivated supplier can no longer be used for purchasing: its item assignments and purchase list entries are removed, it is no longer returned, and it cannot be reactivated. A supplier with open purchase orders and a supplier that is the default supplier of an item are refused with the blockers named in the error; ask 'allowed-actions' beforehand. Errors: errorCode is SUPPLIER_NOT_FOUND (no active supplier has this ID), SUPPLIER_CANNOT_BE_DEACTIVATED (the main reason, see the 409 below). - Request

## Fields

**`supplierId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the supplier to deactivate.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
