# DeleteAttributeCommandRequestInput

> Deletes an attribute or function attribute of either kind. The deletion cannot be undone: the values assigned to items and categories are deleted together with the attribute, and mappings of the fulfillment network that use it are removed. There is no check for assignments. A group disappears with its last attribute. System attributes cannot be deleted. Errors: errorCode is ATTRIBUTE_NOT_FOUND (no attribute has this ID); ATTRIBUTE_IS_SYSTEM_ATTRIBUTE (the attribute is supplied by the system). - Request

**`attributeId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the attribute to delete.
