# Employee

> An employee who works in production.

## Fields

**`id`**: `ID!`

The ID of this resource.

**`category`**: `ResourceCategoryType!`

The category of this resource. It cannot be changed. Clients treat an unknown category as a resource without category-specific properties.

**`number`**: `String!`

The number of this resource.

---

**`name`**: `String!`

The name of this resource.

---

**`description`**: `String`

The description of this resource, or null if it has none.

---

**`resourceTypeId`**: `ID!`

The ID of the resource type of this resource. The resource type belongs to the same category as the resource.

---

**`isActive`**: `Boolean!`

Whether this resource is active. An inactive resource is no longer used for new production planning.

---

**`createdAt`**: `DateTime!`

The point in time at which this resource was created.

---

**`changedAt`**: `DateTime!`

The point in time at which this resource was last changed.

---

**`userId`**: `ID!`

The ID of the user the employee is linked to. Set on creation; cannot be changed.
