# ItemFieldValueType

> Which kind of value an attribute or custom field holds. It follows from the field type of the definition and cannot be chosen. This is a closed set: a new value is a new variant and a breaking change.



**Kind**: `enum`

## Values

**`TEXT`** — A text, also a short text, URL, e-mail address, phone number, country code or list entry.

**`INTEGER`** — A whole number.

**`DECIMAL`** — A decimal number, also a price.

**`BOOLEAN`** — A yes or no, a checkbox.

**`DATE`** — A date with time.
