# ItemMedium

> A medium of an item: a document or video that is shown with it. Images are not media.



**Kind**: `object`

## Fields

**`id`**: `ID!`

The ID of the medium.

**`mediaCategoryId`**: `String!`

The key of what the medium is for, a string and not an enum because the list can grow. Keys today: DATASHEET, VIDEO, OTHER. An unknown key is refused with ITEM_MEDIA_CATEGORY_NOT_FOUND; a client treats a key it does not know like OTHER.

**`name`**: `String`

Display name of the medium.

**`url`**: `String!`

The URL the medium is opened from.

---

**`position`**: `Int!`

Zero-based position among the media of the item.
