# Label

> A label: a named, colored mark that is put on objects of one kind to sort them, for example on items or customers. This is the definition of the label; which objects carry it is told by the object itself.



**Kind**: `object`

## Fields

**`id`**: `ID!`

The ID of the label.

**`name`**: `String!`

The name of the label, 1 to 255 characters. It is the same in every language and unique among the labels of the same kind, ignoring letter case.

**`entityTypeKey`**: `String!`

The key of the kind of object the label is put on, as 'QueryLabelEntityTypes' lists it. It cannot be changed.

**`color`**: `String!`

The color of the label as '#RRGGBB' in upper case. A label without a color shows as '#000000'.

---

**`assignmentCount`**: `Int!`

How many objects of its kind carry the label right now. Computed when requested; leave it out of lists that do not need it.
