# MachineCreationInput

> Creates a machine.

## Fields

**`number`**: `String!` (required)

The number of the new resource.

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

The name of the new resource.

---

**`description`**: `String`

The description of the new resource. When omitted, the resource has no description.

---

**`resourceTypeId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the resource type of the new resource. It must belong to the category of the new resource.

---

**`isActive`**: `Boolean`

Whether the new resource is active. When omitted, the resource is active.

---

**`hardwareId`**: `ID`

The ID of the hardware assigned to the new machine. When omitted, no hardware is assigned.
