# MoveOperationStepCommandRequestInput

> Moves a step to another position within its operation. Errors: the request is invalid; OperationStepNotFound (the step was not found). - Request

## Fields

**`operationStepId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the step to move.

**`sortIndex`**: `Int!` (required)

The new position of the step within its operation.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
