# PaymentTransactionKind

> What a payment transaction stands for, as the bank or the payment provider reports it. A closed set: a new kind changes how transactions are matched and is a change of the schema anyway.



**Kind**: `enum`

## Values

**`REGULAR`** — A transfer, a card or a wallet payment, received or sent.

**`DIRECT_DEBIT`** — A direct debit collected from the payer.

**`REFUND`** — Money paid back to the payer, usually for an earlier transaction ('referenceTransactionId').

**`CHARGEBACK`** — Money taken back by the payer or the payment provider, usually for an earlier transaction ('referenceTransactionId').

**`FEE`** — A fee of the payment provider, usually for an earlier transaction ('referenceTransactionId'). It is booked as order costs on the sales order of that transaction and cannot be assigned.
