# PaymentTransactionSalesPaymentAssignment

> A payment of a sales document recorded from or linked to the transaction. Read it with 'GetPayment'.

## Fields

**`kind`**: `PaymentTransactionAssignmentKind!`

What the assignment is.

**`amount`**: `Decimal!`

The amount assigned, in the currency of the transaction. Negative for a payout or for money taken back.

**`paymentId`**: `ID!`

The ID of the payment.

---

**`salesOrderId`**: `ID`

The sales order of the payment.

---

**`salesInvoiceId`**: `ID`

The sales invoice the payment counts for.

---

**`salesInvoiceCorrectionId`**: `ID`

The sales invoice correction the payment counts for. Never a sales credit note.

---

**`salesCreditNoteId`**: `ID`

The sales credit note the payment counts for. Only payouts can count for a credit note.
