# PutItemDescriptionCommandRequestInput

> Sets the texts of an item in one language, for the default or for one sales channel, and replaces what was there. - Request

## Fields

**`itemId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the item.

**`languageTag`**: `String!` (required)

The language of the texts as BCP 47 language tag, for example 'de' or 'de-AT'. The input is not case-sensitive.

**`salesChannelId`**: `ID`

The sales channel of the texts, a tenant-local composite identifier such as 1-1-1. Omitted means the default texts.

**`name`**: `String!` (required)

The name of the item.

---

**`shortDescription`**: `String`

Short description.

---

**`description`**: `String`

Long description, may contain HTML.

---

**`seoTitle`**: `String`

Title for search engines.

---

**`metaDescription`**: `String`

Description for search engines.

---

**`metaKeywords`**: `String`

Keywords for search engines.

---

**`urlPath`**: `String`

Path segment of the item URL in the shop.

---

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call. Defaults to false when omitted.
