# RefundByPaymentTransactionInput

> Refunds an earlier incoming payment transaction through the payment account that received it. The money goes back to the payer of the transaction.

## Fields

**`paymentTransactionId`**: `ID!` (required)

The incoming payment transaction to refund. It must belong to the payments of the document (for an invoice correction, of the corrected invoice), and enough of it must be left to refund.
