# RemoveVariationCombinationCommandRequestInput

> Detaches an item from the variation parent. The item stays as a regular item. Afterwards it needs a category of its own, because only a combination is exempt from that: it keeps the categories it showed as a combination, the ones of the parent, unless 'categoryIds' names others, which replace them. An item that would be left without a category is refused (error code ITEM_REQUIRES_CATEGORY). The last combination cannot be detached; dissolve the variation by turning the parent back with 'PUT items/{itemId}/regular'. - Request

## Fields

**`itemId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the item.

**`combinationItemId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the item that is the combination.

**`categoryIds`**: `[ID]`

The categories the item has after it is detached. Omitted means it keeps the categories of the parent. If given, at least one.

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call. Defaults to false when omitted.
