# SalesLineItemType

> The type of a sales line item. It selects the variant of the line item.



**Kind**: `enum`

## Values

**`ITEM`** — A line item for an item of the catalog.

**`CUSTOM`** — A free line item without an item of the catalog.

**`VOUCHER`** — A voucher that is sold.

**`CHARGE`** — A charge such as shipping, a payment fee or gift wrap.

**`DISCOUNT`** — A discount such as a coupon.

**`OTHER`** — A line item of a type that is only read, such as a carton.
