# SalesOrderFieldValueType

> Which kind of value a custom field holds, given by the data type of the field. Clients must tolerate unknown values.



**Kind**: `enum`

## Values

**`TEXT`** — A text, also a short text, URL, e-mail address, phone number, country code or list entry.

**`INTEGER`** — A whole number.

**`DECIMAL`** — A decimal number, also a price.

**`BOOLEAN`** — A yes or no, a checkbox.

**`DATE`** — A date; only the calendar date counts.
