# SelectionVariation

> A simple selection variation of an item: the customer chooses one of several values, each of which can change price, weight, item number and GTIN. It is not a variation axis: it does not create combinations and has no item of its own per value. An item that becomes a variation parent turns its selection variations into axes.

## Fields

**`id`**: `ID!`

The ID of the selection variation.

**`name`**: `String!`

Display name in the default language.

**`names`**: `[LocalizedText!]!`

The display name per language. Never null.

**`style`**: `String!`

How the shop shows the variation. The style is one of DROPDOWN, RADIO_BUTTONS, IMAGE_SWATCHES or TEXT_SWATCHES. It changes how the axis is shown in the shop, not which fields exist. The list can grow with the shops; a client treats a value it does not know like DROPDOWN.

**`position`**: `Int!`

Zero-based position among the variations of the item.

The values in their order. Never null.
