# StockPostingType

> The reason of a stock posting, for example goods receipt, goods issue, correction or return. Every stock movement carries one. The list is part of the application: the types are fixed, none can be created, changed or deleted over the API. The direction of a posting is not part of the type but of the posting; 'directions' says in which directions the application uses the type.

## Fields

**`id`**: `ID!`

The ID of the posting type. Fixed by the application and the same in every client.

**`name`**: `String`

The name of the posting type. Not translated: it is the name stored with the type.

**`isSystem`**: `Boolean!`

Whether the application knows the type and can handle it. Computed; every type that ships with the ERP is a system type, and a system type cannot be changed or deleted.

**`directions`**: `[StockPostingDirection!]!`

The directions the application uses the type in: one for a goods receipt, two for a correction, three for a transfer; none for a type that does not move stock (a reservation). Computed from the use in the application.
