# StorageLocationType

> The type of a storage location, from a fixed list of the system (read it with QueryStorageLocationTypes). The ID is stable and is the key to write; name and description are texts in the language of the caller, as in the earlier storage location type of the API.

## Fields

**`id`**: `UUID!`

The stable ID of the type.

**`name`**: `String!`

The name of the type, in the language of the caller, for example Shelf.

**`description`**: `String`

A description of the type, in the language of the caller.

**`isCreatable`**: `Boolean!`

Whether a storage location of this type can be created through the API. The system creates the locations of the types goods receipt, box and picking trolley itself.

---

**`isInterchangeable`**: `Boolean!`

Whether a storage location can be changed from or to this type. Only shelf, quarantine, pallet, retail, carton, bulk storage and transfer locations can.
