# TransactionStatus

> A transaction status: a label users set on sales documents to track their processing, for example 'waiting for payment'. Used for the detail and for the list.

## Fields

**`id`**: `ID!`

The ID of the transaction status.

**`name`**: `String`

The name of the status. Unique among all transaction statuses, ignoring letter case, when a status is created or renamed; existing data may contain duplicates or no name.

**`validFor`**: `[String!]!`

The kinds of sales documents the status can be chosen for. Empty if for none. Documents that already carry the status keep it when the list shrinks. Known keys: 'SALES_QUOTATION', 'SALES_ORDER', 'SUBSCRIPTION'. New keys can be added; pass back the keys you read, handle an unknown key as not known, never as a failure.
