# UpdateCustomerCommandRequestInput

> Changes the master data of a customer. Only what is sent changes. Addresses, the blocked state and the parts of the customer have their own operations. - Request

## Fields

**`customerId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the customer.

**`number`**: `String`

The customer number, at most 30 characters, unique within the tenant. It cannot be empty.

---

**`debtorNumber`**: `Int`

The debtor number for accounting. Null removes the value.

---

**`customerGroupId`**: `ID`

The customer group.

---

**`customerCategoryId`**: `ID`

The customer category. Null removes the value.

---

**`customerPrintTextId`**: `ID`

The customer print text set that documents of this customer print. Null removes the assignment (errorCode is CUSTOMER_PRINT_TEXT_NOT_FOUND).

**`companyId`**: `ID`

The own company the customer belongs to. Null removes the value.

---

**`languageTag`**: `String`

The language as BCP 47 language tag, for example de or de-AT: language subtag in lower case, region subtag in upper case. Case does not matter on input. Wawi currently holds only the two-letter language subtag. It must be a language used in Wawi. An empty text removes the value.

**`paymentTerms`**: `CustomerPaymentTermsChangesInput`

The payment terms. Only the parts that are sent change.

**`discountPercent`**: `Decimal`

The discount in percent, 0 to 100.

**`creditLimit`**: `Decimal`

The credit limit in the default currency of the tenant, a whole amount greater than 0. Null removes the value.

**`origin`**: `String`

Where the first contact came from, at most 255 characters. An empty text removes the value.

---

**`birthDate`**: `DateTime`

The date of birth. Only the date part is stored. Null removes the value.

**`website`**: `String`

The website, at most 255 characters. An empty text removes the value.

---

**`taxNumber`**: `String`

The tax number, at most 255 characters. An empty text removes the value.

---

**`commercialRegisterNumber`**: `String`

The commercial register number, at most 255 characters. An empty text removes the value.

---

**`customerSince`**: `DateTime`

Since when the customer exists.

---

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call (the customer event 'changed'). Defaults to false when omitted.

---

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
