# UpdateKitComponentCommandRequestInput

> Changes a component of a kit. Every field is optional; a field that is omitted stays as it is. - Request

## Fields

**`itemId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the item.

**`componentItemId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the component item.

**`quantity`**: `Decimal`

How many units of the component one unit of the kit consumes.

**`position`**: `Int`

Zero-based position of the component.

---

**`comment`**: `String`

Free-text comment on the component.

---

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call. Defaults to false when omitted.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
