# UpdateManufacturerCommandRequestInput

> Updates an existing manufacturer. Properties that are omitted stay as they are. Errors: errorCode is MANUFACTURER_NOT_FOUND (no manufacturer has this ID), MANUFACTURER_NAME_ALREADY_EXISTS (another manufacturer has this name, regardless of upper and lower case). - Request

## Fields

**`manufacturerId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the manufacturer to update.

**`name`**: `String`

The new name of the manufacturer. It must be unique among all manufacturers.

**`website`**: `String`

The new website of the manufacturer; null removes it.

---

**`sortNumber`**: `Int`

The new position of the manufacturer in sorted lists; null removes it.

---

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
