# UpdateMeasurementUnitCommandRequestInput

> Changes the display code or the unit code of a measurement unit. The names are changed per language with 'SetMeasurementUnitTranslation' and 'RemoveMeasurementUnitTranslation'. Fields that are omitted stay as they are; null removes the unit code. The display code of a system measurement unit cannot be changed. - Request

## Fields

**`measurementUnitId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the measurement unit.

**`displayCode`**: `String`

The new display code, 1 to 255 characters.

**`unitCode`**: `String`

The new UN/CEFACT unit code, 2 or 3 letters or digits; null removes it.

---

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
