# UpdateOperationStepTextCommandRequestInput

> Changes the text of an operation step in one language. Only the properties that are sent change. Errors: the request is invalid; OperationStepTextNotFound (the step has no text in this language or the step was not found). - Request

## Fields

**`operationStepId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the step.

**`languageTag`**: `String!` (required)

The language of the text to change as a BCP 47 language tag, e.g. "de" or "de-AT"; case-insensitive.

**`text`**: `String`

The new text of the step in this language. Must not consist of white space only.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
