# UpdatePaymentAccountCommandRequestInput

> Changes the settings of a payment account. Fields that are omitted stay as they are. Credentials and the connection to the bank or the provider are changed in the desktop client. Works on a hidden account too. Errors: PAYMENT_ACCOUNT_NOT_FOUND (the payment account was not found); PAYMENT_METHOD_NOT_FOUND (the payment method was not found); IBAN_INVALID (the IBAN is not valid); PAYMENT_ACCOUNT_NOT_EXTERNAL_FOR_BANK_DATA (IBAN, BIC and holder can only be changed on an external account; other accounts take them from the bank). - Request

## Fields

**`paymentAccountId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the payment account.

**`name`**: `String`

The display name; null clears it.

---

**`description`**: `String`

The description; null clears it.

---

**`transferPaymentMethodId`**: `ID`

The payment method of the payments recorded when a transaction is assigned; null clears it.

---

**`directDebitPaymentMethodId`**: `ID`

The payment method for direct debits; null clears it.

---

**`chargebackPaymentMethodId`**: `ID`

The payment method for chargebacks and refunds; null clears it.

---

**`importCutoffDate`**: `DateTime`

Transactions booked on or before this date are not imported; null removes the limit.

---

**`iban`**: `String`

The IBAN. Only for an external account.

---

**`bic`**: `String`

The BIC. Only for an external account.

---

**`holder`**: `String`

The holder of the account. Only for an external account.

---

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Whether to suppress the automatic workflows this call would start. Events for other systems are still published. Defaults to false when omitted.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
