# UpdateResourceCommandRequestInput

> Changes a resource. The input is a one-of: exactly one variant is sent and it must be the category of the resource. Only the properties that are sent change. The category cannot be changed. Errors: the request is invalid; RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND (the resource was not found); RESOURCE_CATEGORY_MISMATCH (the variant is not the category of the resource); RESOURCE_TYPE_NOT_FOUND (the resource type was not found); RESOURCE_TYPE_CATEGORY_MISMATCH (the resource type belongs to another category). - Request

## Fields

**`resourceId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the resource to change.

**`changes`**: `UpdateResourceInput!` (required)

The changes. Exactly one variant, the category of the resource.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
